Hello Conservatives,
This is not exactly what we hoped for now is it. But don't be gloomy we have to do some swerious reflecting about where we stand and where we are going. This may be a set back that was not proceived by the experts in the party, though we did think we would loose some House seats and maybe one or two Senate seats but pehaps gain in the Senate or keep a slim mojority. That is not the case but I believe we should have seen this coming all along and there is no excuse for not as many tried to tell us (the leadership) that the public was not happy with what was going on in washington. Many issues were not addressed properly or when handled it was with mediocraty thinking only of popularity and elections and not of commited principals and the best interests of the nation as peole gave open signals of. Thus what to do next.
The party must return to its core values and stick by them. It must head the will of the people not just in speaches but in action. Make an articulated firm argument of what the conservative agenda is and often as possible. In doing this make sound contrasts between those of the Democrates and our own and why the conservative Republican is better for the country. If this is done for the next two years we can win back the house and the Pesidency posibly the Senate.
